Clarence Robinson, aka “Fa’ shawn Flashh” was born on May 10, 1993, in Battle Creek, Michigan. With his dad, Quincy De'shawn Webbs, being killed and mother, Claire Robinson, being unstable, Fa’ shawn Flashh was put into the adoptive care at a very young age. Around age 4, Clarence was moved from home to home. He didn't settle into a comfortable home until he was nearly 7 years old. While adapting to his new family, Fa'shawn Flash enjoyed many common hobbies like watching music videos. However, Fa'shawn Flashh discovered that he had a passion for dance and knew that this passion was going to change his life.
Fa'shawn Flash was inspired by music videos like "Touch" by Omarion and "Wall to Wall" by Chris Brown and used these videos to help him learn some new dance moves. Fa' shawn Flashh also acquired lessons from his older adopted brother, who goes by the name of "B-nice". Eager to become a dancer, Fa' shawn Flashh wanted to show his talents to everyone. Fa' shawn Flashh put on shows for kids at his school, West Jefferson High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and showed all of his relatives how good of a dancer he was becoming. This confidence only led to more visions of what his life would turn into being.
Fa' shawn Flashh's life took a turn once Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Louisiana in 2005. Thus, Fa' shawn Flashh had to move to Grand Prarie, Texas. Doing so, made him gain new friends but lose old ones. Fa’ shawn Flashh started to hang with the wrong crowd and got himself caught up into some trouble. Fa'shawn Flashh was charged with simple battery and was offered two options. He could either join the Youth Challenge Program, a military boot camp, or tend to his probation. He chose to attend the YCP and this option forced him and his family to moved back home to New Orleans, Louisiana.
While still on the vigorous path at the age of 17, Fa’ shawn Flashh decided to leave his family, which lead him to back to the cycle of moving from home to home. After that option ran out, Fa’ shawn Flashh had no where to go, so he decided to attend The Covenant House, a shelter for runaways and homeless teens. Years after Fa’ shawn Flashh’s intial move, Fa’ shawn Flashh was discharged because The Covenant House only allows its attendees to stay for a certain amount of time.
At that time, Fa’ shawn Flashh’s only option was to live back on the streets, but his mindset was that he couldn't live like this and all he had was him!
At age 19, Fa’ shawn Flashh went back to focusing on his passion. Him and a couple of his close friends decided to create a dance group, but that idea didn’t last long. The group may have ended, but Fa’ shawn Flashh was not giving up.
Fa’ shawn Flashh continued to dance around the city of New Orleans and word began to hit about his talent. This led to the life-changer moment of when Fa’ shawn Flashh received a phone call from "Big Freedia Queen of Bounce" Manager, Melvin Foley. Melvin Foley asked Fa’ shawn Flashh, "Are you able to catch a flight to Portland?", and at that moment, Fa’ shawn Flashh’s heart was pounding. He knew that this was going to be a step forward into showing others his style of dance, and shortly afterwards, Fa’ shawn Flashh was officially apart of Team Freedia. Days went on and Melvin Foley started to find out about Fa’ shawn Flashh’s situation. Melvin Foley decided offered Fa’ shawn Flashh a place to stay. While Melvin Foley began to learn more about Fa'shawn Flashh, Melvin Foley noticed how much talent the kid actually had. Melvin Foley then asked him if he had ever rapped before, and that moment led to much greater things. Now, Fa’ shawn Flashh’s goal is to become an world-wide entertainer.
Now I guess you all are wondering what happens next?
Currently, Fa’ shawn Flashh, Skip, a dancer from Big Freedia, and Juan, Big Freedia’s DJ, formed a group called "Mile Hi." Mile Hi travels and performs outside of their jammed packed schedule with Big Freedia. Mile Hi is taking over the game with their amazing talent and the world has yet to see what these three individuals, including Fa’ shawn Flashh, are capable of. World takeover.
